Virgin America focuses on Puerto Vallarta as its newest Mexican Destination
Virgin America’s CEO David Cush released a press statement this week announcing how proud he is to be able to offer flyers another “world class leisure option†in Puerto Vallarta. He acknowledged the growing demand for travel to Mexico and is responding to this increase by submitting an application to the US Department of Transport to include Puerto Vallarta in its direct routes from San Francisco from the end of this year. Adding to Cancun and Los Cabos, Vallarta will be the 3rd Mexican destination for Virgin travelers and this new route, if the plan is approved, could begin from November, just in time for our busy high season. The proposed plan would be a huge boost to Vallarta’s tourism economy and would also pave the way for more direct flights to Puerto Vallarta and service providers to begin offering new routes and competitive prices for travelers.
