By DevSupport on October 24, 2013
Halloween isn’t a traditional Mexican holiday but there are still plenty of places for tricks and treats around Puerto Vallarta. Here are a few fun suggestions for families and some just for grown-ups.
Family Friendly
• Try Olas Altas, the famous Puerto Vallarta Malecon or the Puerto Vallarta Marina for trick or treating. Businesses and friendly foreigners and locals will be handing out candy in these areas.
• La Luna Restaurant in Old Town is hosting a family Halloween party on Oct. 31 starting at 5pm.
For Grown-Ups
• Lori’s Escondido hosts their 4th Annual Halloween Haunt on October 26, 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Wear a costume and get a drink on the house!
• Get Around The Block is a Halloween party hosted in 3 different Olas Altas venues: Nu, The Swedes and Fusion Gourmet. Up for grabs is a 3000 peso prize for best costume. Participants must register from 7pm to 11pm at all three locations to be eligible to win.
• Nacho Daddy is celebrating Halloween in their new location at 287 Basilio Badillo.
• Bar Frida is hosting a costume party with prizes at 11:30pm.
• De Santos hosts their annual Dia Los Muertos party on November 1st in the upstairs Janice Lounge featuring live music and prizes for best costume.
