The Perfect Puerto Vallarta Halloween Cocktail
By DevSupport on October 30, 2013
The Paloma is the other
tequila drink of Mexico, maybe not as well known as her cousin, Margarita,
but equally delicious. A traditional
Paloma is made with grapefruit soda and tequila, but we’ve got a special
Halloween version, the perfect cocktail for your spooky celebration.
3 oz tequila blanco (the colorless)
2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
6 oz lemon-lime soda
Crushed salt for the rim
Sliced limes, grapefruit and strawberries for garnish
Instructions
Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice and strawberries
to a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds or until well blended. Add lemon-lime
soda and pulse once or twice.
Sprinkle a small amount of crushed salt on a small plate.
Rub the rims of 2 double old-fashioned glasses with a lime slice. Dip into
salt, coating the rim.
Fill glasses with ice and fill with Strawberry Paloma.
Garnish with limes, grapefruit and strawberries if desired.
Enjoy and have a Happy Halloween in Puerto Vallarta with
these creepily orange and devilishly delicious authentic tastes of Mexico!
