Best Wine Shops for the Holidays

It’s time to stock up for holiday parties and New Year’s Eve, so we have a helpful list of the best wine and liquor stores located in neighborhoods around Puerto Vallarta to keep your shopping quick and easy.

Marina Vallarta:  La Europea has an excellent selection of wines and liquors, with a full variety of high-end champagnes, including magnums, if you really want to splash out.  The also have a deli counter, wine glasses, imported food and daily fresh baked bread to cover all you impromptu cocktail party needs.

Hotel Zone:  For specialty and hard to find bottles, Vinoteca on Avenida Fluvial is a good option.  They also offer a deli counter and good selection of chilled wine and bubbles, great for grabbing on your way to a party.  And of course, Costco is where to go for good prices on high end brands like Veuve Cliquot, Moet & Chandon and Dom Perignon.

Romantic Zone:  Vinos Las Americas and Los Mercados both offer a great selection of wine, beer, spirits and specialty items.  Casa Gourmet also features a small selection of hard-to-find items for adding a little taste of home to your holiday party.

And in various locations around Puerto Vallarta:  Soriana, Mega, Walmart and La Playa are all helpful when stocking up your holiday bar.
