Giving Back on Valentine’s Day

If you and your sweetheart would like to celebrate Valentine’s
Day by giving back this year, there are some romantic charity functions being held in the Puerto Vallarta area this February14th
“Open Your Heart†Gala Sunset Dinner and Dance Fundraiser in
support of Corazon de Nina, the girl’s shelter that runs completely on private
donations, is being held at CasaMagna Marriott.
There will be live music for dancing provided by Trensas Negras, a
delicious three-course dinner prepared by the CasaMagna Marriott, and raffle
prizes including honeymoon packages at Casa Isabel, spa packages, jewelry, art,
and more. A donation of $500 pesos per
person is required and tickets are available at the Marriott Concierge Desk in
Marina Vallarta at Paseo de la Marina Norte #435, Kristina’s Salon in Marina
Vallarta at Puesto del Sol Loc 9B, or Carol’s Boutique at #250 Basilio Badillo
on the Southside.
The International Friendship Club, IFC, hosts “Valentine’s
Day Dinner on the Beach†on Los Muertos in front of Los Arcos Hotel. The night begins with cocktails at 6:00 pm,
followed by a buffet dinner on the beach at 6:30 pm. Cost is $450 pesos which
includes gratuity and 1 welcome drink of either fruit punch (non-alcoholic,)
rum punch, or a lime margarita. There will be live music from 7 pm until 11 pm
and there will be dancers performing a Latin Show from 8 pm until 9 pm. And the proceeds from the event will be
donated to charity.
