Mamas in PV
By DevSupport on April 21, 2014
Starting a family away from family and friends can be challenging
but a new group in Banderas Bay, Mamas in PV, is helping to connect moms, dads
and kids.
With a popular Facebook group boasting a membership of 287
mamas and dads, both foreign residents and Mexican nationals, Mamas in PV is
creating a support system of local parents.
The message board is always active with parenting questions, referrals
for medical and child care, help for locating hard to find items and a joke or
two to lighten everyone’s day.
Mamas in PV also arranges activities like their Malecon “Stroller
Mobs†and play-dates at different moms homes for kids and parents to interact.
On Sunday, April 21, starting at noon they will be hosting
their first large-scale event, the Mamas in PV 1st Annual
Get-Together at El Rio BBQ. Activities
will include kiddie yoga, crafts from Koala Kids Care, kiddie spa by Bonita
Make-up Studio, music, games, surprises and more. There will even be a beer garden for dads!
