Historic Cruise arrival in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta receives more than 25 cruisers in January and 4 simultaneous yesterday.
The first month of the year, Puerto Vallarta hosted 25 cruiser arrivals. The first time since 2010.
According with official communicate, the 2nd, 9th and 17th of january arrived 3 simultaneous and the 30th of the same month it was a quadruple: Carnival Splendor, Ruby Princess, Norwegian Gem and Volendam.

More than 11k tourists enjoyed our paradise and will make a significant economic impact expected for more than a 1.5 million dollars only for the 30th, in addition to the economic impact from the 5,000 tripulants.

It is important to remember that the average of money spending per person of these cruisers is 119 usd along their stay.

API Vallarta is constantly working on its infraestructure in order to bring a high quality services, also this year is going to be consolidated the “Puerto Mágico” in the marine terminal, which is going to be an area very similar to a tequila factory which is going to offer a great experience to the passengers.

All this improvings togheter with the effords of the Tourit escrow in the promotion of Puerto Vallarta, make possible the 176 cruissers that are expected to receive along 2019; 27 more than 2018.
