Botanical Garden of Puerto Vallarta is again one of the best in North America

This gorgeous space located in the south of Puerto Vallarta was choosen for the second consecutive year by the USA TODAY diary in its annual survey.
The Botanical Garden of Puerto Vallarta is one of the selected ones to be part of the list of the 10 best Botanical Gardens of North America, performed by the USA TODAY diary; is one of the two nominated out of the United States (the other one is the Botanical Garden of Montreal), and has been between the fourth and the sixth place of the daily votation.
Last year that garden got the fourth place in the list of the best Botanical Gardens in North América of the USA TODAY, only below of Longwood Gardens (Pennsylvania), Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and the Botanical Garden of Missouri, also it was the only one out of the United States in the list.
Executive Director of the Botanical Garden of Puerto Vallarta, Neil Gerlowski, explained the importancy of this competition. “With a daily delivery of about a million of issues and a digital distribution even bigger, USA TODAY has a circulation comparable with the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
Botanical Garden of Puerto Vallarta with its richness in native mexican plants, allowed to get that prime position in the list of the last year. For a relatively young garden, this place is developing impressive colections.
With a tropical location in almost the same latitude than Hawaii, plants in Puerto Vallarta thrive naturally. However, under the care of a dedicated team of nurseryman, they are well kept til hit it maximum potential and results are impressive.
There is always something new blooming in the Botanical Garden of Puerto Vallarta and each visit surpass the expectations. Mexicans from all over the country and visitors from other countries appreciate this place.
